I make art quilts. and mostly do not pre-wash fabrics, but on the down side when it comes time to block and steam the final piece, some non-washed fabrics can bleed. This is a sad time. I always pre-wash reds.

Excellent video on pre washing fabrics, and I especially like the visuals on showing people how to use the forum. You are super organized and have a very methodical way of presenting things. Love it. You are truly the perfect person to teach this BOM. Looking forward to it.

Laynie, it is double fold 1/4" finished bias tape that has fusible on the back. It is black because it is used for the tree trunks and the Eiffel Tower and Centrepoint Tower. I believe it also comes in silver and gold--maybe a silver Eiffel tower??

Question: 1/4" fusible web is "double" stick fusible tape and does it have to be black?
