beautiful beautiful rendition. , exquisite work. I did a tree once in different shades of blue , it was lovely. For the trolls out there , I would just say shut up and keep your negative comments to yourself, have you ever done something even close to this for goodness sake , take your misery elsewhere , don’t bring it to the Quilt Show which only posts beautiful things for our pleasure, shame on you all.

May I suggest that if you do not like something about one of the quilts displayed here that you simply move on and find something you do like. None of us care about hearing what you do not like, appreciate, find reasonable or find special. We all like different things. Nothing is gained by negative comments unless you might be asked to suggest how a project might be improved. Thanks, Happy Thanksgiving.

A beautiful depiction of a redwood tree , but the leaves look more like an oak tree leaf.

Simply stunning. You captured the spirit of the tree beautifully. Such an artist you are! I feel awe struck and hope someday I will be able to do such amazing work.

Wonderful quilt Pat. I too love the redwoods and walk in them daily.
Not sure what "pweissensee" meant by never seeing a redwood with leaves, or "I would rather see a true depiction of the tree". They always have leaves, lots and lots and all year long. Pat's depiction is very realistic, at least to this person who sees redwood trees on a daily basis. Thanks.

Absolutely Gorgeous!! Was so intrigued with the tree at first look, I didn't see the deer or bird until after scanning the larger in depth pics. Love to thread paint myself but yours is definitely an expert!!!

I've never seen a redwood with leaves! Beautiful quilting and realistic bark, and even though I have a great deal of respect for the hours and hours of work to make the bark so realistic, I would rather see a true depiction of the tree. These giants are true works of art in nature
