Margaret Abramshe - "Duck" a Houston 2019 Quilt

Utilizing what we see in life everyday for our quilting inspiration is something every quilter can relate to. For Margaret Abramshe that is no different. The inspiration for her Duck was just a photo she took as she "strolled along the San Antonio Riverwalk." Created with machine quilting, hand piecing, painting, and digital printing, this Duck is certainly a quilt to give a quack about.

Duck by Margaret Abramshe of St. George, Utah was featured in the Animal Kingdom category at Houston 2019.

Love the duck! Does look like she was posing for a portrait. Also love the River Walk in San Antonio; great place to take walk and ride one of the boats.
