Sometimes a quilt idea can come from the simplest things. Like when Sue Bleiweiss was cleaning out her closet and came across a box of crayons. That box inspired Color My World and a beautiful quilt was born.

Color My World by Sue Bleiweiss of Pepperell, Massachusetts was featured in the Fantasy / Whimsy category at Houston 2019.

It makes me remember the first day of school when the crayons were all new. My favourite color was Burnt Sienna. I still use that rust orange color in my quilts.
Great quilt. Thanks for the memories.

This quilt brought back a favorite memory from childhood, the fragrance of a new box of crayons. Every summer we would vacation in the mountains and Mom bought us each a new box of crayons along with plain paper and coloring books. So this quilt is a "memory starter"great quilt!

Absolutely the cutest quilt I’ve ever seen! I wish I’d thought of it!

How adorable!!! I, too, remember that feeling of opening a new box of crayons, way back when.......can almost still smell them.
