Jane L. Osborne was inspired by Philippa Naylor to push the boundaries of her quilting capabilities. She wanted to try out new techniques and new colors in her quilt, Round the World We Go, and loved the whole process from the first mark to the final stitch.

Beautiful blending of the colors of the four seasons. How intertwined the changes are and the movement is mesmerizing. The circle makes me reflect on my life, looking at how my events are in colors and interlocked, yet going onward.

I love this quilt. It's refreshing to know the artist made this for herself.

You feel the movement. Traveling the world, the world spinning. The planning and placement, colors and fabric choices make it glorious. The purpose being made for yourself is wonderful. You feel it.
