Sometimes mishaps, happen...The Modern Quilt Guild Victoria can attest to this with their quilt, Change of Direction, which might also be known as Oops!.

Change of Direction by MQG Victoria was featured in the Charity Quilts category, sponsored by the Modern Quilt Guild, at QuiltCon 2020.

I am absolutely honoured that you featured our “oops” quilt! A huge shout out to all of those who participated in the making of our fantastic quilt. As the organizer of the quilt and online quilt shop owner, this project just seemed to snowball and we made the best of bad situation, to the dismay of many individuals. A shout out to Aarol who literally shouted out “oops” in the meeting and to Nicole who drew it up sitting in the back row! We totally rocked it!

Unfortunately, we believe the phrases are at the bottom of the quilt and we didn't get a close enough shot for the detail. You might just be able to make them out in the quilting if you enlarge the photo on your screen. We apologize for missing that.
