The Monkey Wrench Quilt block is fun, bold, and distinctive, but you need to make it straight. In this tutorial, Alex shows you how to get it right. Learn to make the Monkey Wrench Quilt block or add this quilt block to the pattern and have a wonderful wall hanging when the class ends. This block is part of the Sequoia Sampler Remix pattern that Alex has been demonstrating. You can purchase the pattern below.

She has tips and tricks in this LIVE quilt tutorial. BUT you don't have to be there LIVE, it's all recorded (it's just more fun LIVE so you can chat).

Alex is LIVE on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 10am PST, 1pm EST, & 6pm London time.

I love you Alex, all the things that are going wrong even the Tea would be something I would do. You are human just like me.

Is monkey wrench the same as churn dash?

Alex, thank you , you are exactly what we all need right now. You are real and spontaneous and not frightened in admitting to mistakes or the crovid brain?

Yes, I too have Covid brain. Once you looked at the pattern, no doubt you figured it out. I've done that too, so no worries, you're one of us! I did laugh out loud, first time in a few weeks. Thanks for being real.

Love your videos. Yes, I can relate to the covid brain issue. The lessons are great and I love your sense of humor which I need in these times. I sit at my computer and chuckle. My husband gets a kick out of it. Keep up the good work.

Oh Alex, you restore my faith in human nature! I love it that you're willing to make a mistake on camera and then just run with it anyway. (You and Julia Child, who dropped a turkey on the floor on her show and said, "Pick it up and dust it off -- it's going in the oven, and there's nobody in the kitchen but you.") So, the Julia Child Bravery on Camera award to you!!
