And you can get it to. We have just a few that have come off the assembly line. We will be getting more, but if you would like it right away, please order now. Do we need to wash quilt after it is finished using this product?

I know you had said that you don't usually wash your quilt once you are finished when using your pressing products. Do we need to wash using this new product when the quilt is finished?

Answers to questions about Easy Press Fabric Treatment in order of appearance.

#1. Easy Press does not make the fabric colorfast. I still pre-wash all my fabrics before using them in my quilts.

#2. Yes, you can still pre-wash your fabric then treat with Easy Press.

#3. Yes, Easy Press washes out of your quilts. It is completely water soluble.

Here's what I do to prepare fabrics before use. I pre-wash all fabrics by hand or machine depending if off the bolt or pre-cuts... yes, I wash pre-cuts too... Then I dry the fabrics in the dryer even the pre-cuts. I place the pre-cuts in a lingerie bag to help keep the fraying down. Then I treat with Easy Press.

Happy Piecing!

My favourite things about this product is that it doesn't have a scent and it doesn't attract bugs.

Not quite clear to me: Does the treatment make fabric colorfast? Or does Shelley still pre-wash? Thx!

No, I don't think it makes it colourfast. Shelley still prewashes her fabric.

Yes, you can. That's what Shelley does, and what I do, too.

What is the difference between this and starch? The scotch gaard property?
