This quilt required knowledge of perspective, geometry, color theory, and quilting, and Beth Nufer seems to have nailed them all in her stunning quilt, Cody's Cubes. Beth said it was fun "and challenging" to make. We'd have to agree.

Cody's Cubes was on display as part of the Pieced, Large exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2019.

Amazing quilting and how does one find all the fabrics to achieve those minute color changes for each cube? Fabulous!

Wow a whole quilt full of optical challenges. I really enjoyed looking at it and making the structures change with the blink of an eye. Bravo, what a wonder you have created.

Love how she added quilting on the black to extend the lines from the cubes. From the far away picture it looked like a grayed fabric.
