Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry took a photograph outside the Pompidou Museum of Contemporary Art in Paris. Ten years later she used modern technology to turn that photograph into a quilt, along with hand-dyed fabric and thread painting. The gentleman in the painting looks so realistic, you can almost hear him play his instrument.

Hanging at the Pompidou was on display as part of the People, Portraits, and Pictures exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2019.
