Marilyn Smith's quilt, 15 Warthogs, won not one, but two awards. It was selected as the Judge's Choice award by Cindy Seitz-Krug and also won Viewer's Choice award at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2019. It was exhibited as part of the Alternative Techniques category and while the color and graphic impact catches your eye, you are drawn in by all the meticulous detail on each warthog. (See approximate size in the last picture.)

Great Technics to add dimension and color. I would never have thought to make a quilt dedicated to the wart hog. But you certainly make it work. Lots of energy found in your color choices. I appreciate your imagination.
