Capt'n John did something for the very first time in Houston and Alex was so surprised she photographed it for posterity. DId you guess what it was? It's his first time at a sewing machine! Do you think there is a BERNINA Q20 in his future?

Looks like he’s doing pretty well. I think he’s a quilter now.

Yay!
Hope he continues. :)
I tried for years to get my husband to start quilting, but he never would.
And Alex, if you get the Q20 I think you will LOVE IT! (and maybe Capt'n John will keep quilting. ;) )
I know that I sure love mine.

He did a great job! I definitely see a Q20 in his future.

He did GREAT! But you put him on the right machine, the Bernina Q20 is such a user-friendly long arm with that dual BSR. Alex, it may have been the beginning of a love affair for John, lol!

I think there might just be one of these under the Christmas Tree for Alex this year!!!!!!

Fantastic, he did a great job. I've never tried one, but I understand they can be tricky even for experienced quilters who haven't used one before. It should also give him a greater appreciation for Alex's skills as a quilter.
