See "Sunset Serenity" a quilt by Cheryl Quesnell

We think Cheryl Quesnell's quilt, Sunset Serenity, surpassed her goal of recreating a beautiful sunset in fabric. She used fusible appliqué and machine quilting to create this serene scene which will have you relaxing in no time.

Sunset Serenity was on display as part of the Naturescape exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018.

My first thought when I looked at the first photo was it reminded me of my view of the Olympic Mountains from my apt window when I lived in Seattle.

What a beautiful quilt! I love the depth,colors and movement this quilt has. It definately stops you and makes you really look at it.
