These designers did. We found this exhibit from the Chandler Trashion Fashion Show in a shopping mall in Chandler, AZ. The designers of these fashions range in age from 10 to adult and turned everything from coffee pods and newspapers, hula hoops and palm bark, into fashionable garments. Scroll down after the photos for a video about the fashion show.

Why didn't they do this kind of thing when we were in school? Sooo much talent from such young minds. Very inspiring. Love them all. You girls can do anything that you set your minds to, so go for it!

Yikes, I know about the plastic overload , I try my best not to contribute to it, but, surprised by the fact that that many books are thrown out as trash! There has got to be a better way! Donating to a local library may help but there must be more avenues for book recycling. A while back my church was contacted by local state prison to donate books. The prison library was depleted. Thanks to the generous response the library was completely retocked and extra books were sent to another prison. Could this be part of the answer to prevent books being lost to landfills?
