Well, it's not a newspaper (old joke...). It is, however, Lady in Red by Shari McDonnell-Guimont and Marlene Hiltner. This large (104" x 104") quilt has more half-square triangles than we want to count.

Lady in Red is based on the Lady of 10,000 Lakes pattern by Claudia Clark Myers...do you think there are 10,000 half-square triangles? It was exhibited at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah Spring 2019.

Beautiful. I love the look with triangles but have been scared of them. May have to try another one.

Wonderfully precise piecing. Lady of the Lake block would have been paper-foundatio n pieced, if it's a Claudia Clark Myers pattern. I did this block recently, size 5" and wish mine had been as precise as these. Wonderful quilting too - at that size must have been done on a longarm.

I love this quilt! For whatever reason I've always been attracted to triangles. I love to play with them in designs and the way the triangle shape has been repeated in different sizes and as a variety of block components in this quilt is so lovely. The quilting a pretty great, too!

Recently using Aqquilt have sort of mastered triangles.
Not sure if ready to challenge myself with something so daunting!!!!!?!

Visually attractive and encourages one to try using HSTs in quilts!
