Why Did Barbara Black Buy a BERNINA Q 20?

Alex noticed when she was talking to Barbara Black about the TQS BOM that there was a BERNINA Q 20 in the background. Because Barbara is a quilter and a teacher, Alex wanted to know why she bought it.

I took a ruler work class at Road 2CA this year, using both the Bernina 770QE (which I have) and the Q20, which I had never used before. I had no problem adapting to the Q20, and would have walked out the door with the class machine had I not promised myself to,pay off the 770QE first. Loved it!

I totally love mine. My quilting vastly improved when I got mine, which I have had for 3 years now and it has given me no trouble. I do so much more than just free motion quilting on it...I also do free motion embroidery, couching, ruler/template work, and basting. I have found it takes nearly every thread i have tried on it. His name is Fritz, after the founder of Bernina and Nero Wolf's chef. You have to name such a beast. LOL
