We were sure that this quilt had the label on the wrong side... It's a wholecloth quilt, right?

Seasons of Life by Sandra Mollon with Kris Spray won Best Movable Machine Workmanship at Spring Paducah 2019.

(Yes, this is the back of the quilt. See the front Click Here)

OK, I am confused. It is designed and Made by Sandra Mollon and Quilted by Kris Spay. A whole cloth is all about the quilting. How did Sandra Mollon "make the Quilt" when it isn't pieced or appliqued? Not that I am criticizing. The quilt is gorgeous and the design is fantastic. I have always wanted to do a whole cloth quilt and would hope I could do something half as nice.

Spectacular design and intricate quilting. You both must have wonderful patience to complete this quilt. Congratulations on a real beauty.

Absolutely the most beautiful quilting I have ever seen. Where do you even begin to find designs like this to start learning this? Wow, What a quilter!

Wow! What a work of art! The quilter, Kris, certainly deserved that award. Sandra's design is beautiful.

Having made a reversible, 2 color, wholecloth, 112 x 98,
with matching reversible, zippered pillow shams, I can truly appreciate the labor involved in this beauty.

My quilt and shams took over 300 hours start to finish.
