While touring the International Patchwork Festival in Sitges, Ricky came across this remarkable log cabin quilt. He writes, "At the Spanish Patchwork Association show a log cabin quilt like I’ve never seen before."

It is Azul de colores "el tubo" by Montse Forcadell Blasco.

When I saw this quilt on line, I asked every quilt shop
if they have the pattern and a teacher to teach. This quilt is amazing.

Are there instructions for this? It is fabulous. Although as a beginning quilter I suspect it would be too hard for me.

It is amazing. It doesn’t matter how it was achieved but more the end result . To use such a simple block to achieve great things truly a black dress and pearls
(Log cabin block)
It is my ultimate goal to be able to give my quilts that sort of depth and perception
