Tanya Brown's Cranky Clause is a completely different perspective on your usual Santa. He was also made in quite an interesting way by posing and rendering computer-based 3D models of Santa, the coal, the presents, and everything else. This Santa might be burned out from centuries of work, but Tanya's quilt is "on fire."

Tanya's quilt was exhibited at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2018.

Interesting and innovative approach to art quilting. What immediately strikes me is it looks like he has two right boots! So much work, but his left leg and boot look awkward and that’s where my eyes focus.

I agree with some others. Not my cup of tea, creepy, kind of ruins the nice tradition of Santa.

Funny...but it's "clean coal"

Ruins the spirit of Christmas. He would be better suited in black leathers with his foot on a Harley.

Certainly different, not sure whether I like it or not

I am not a fan of cigars but he seems sort or sexy and interesting. My husband is better looking but I would be okay with sitting on his knee so long as he did not have cigar breath!!!

not loving it. reminds me of the A-team guy. I'm sure Mrs. santa would love this buff version but not me. excited that technology is opening up another avenue for quilters though.

In a way, he reminds me of Alex Baldwin (It's Complicated). Such detail!!!!
