Sachiko Takahashi created Borderless based on her love of travel and her love of cats. At 75 years old, she has created a wonderful world full of the people of many countries and many cats.

Sachiko's quilt was on exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018.

Absolutely beautiful work. I am 83 and still quilting away. Not as good as I used to be, but doing okay. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful way to remember all the wonderful places she has experienced.

John has apologized for the title mires presenting what was trying to be conveyed.

Funny so many were offended...my first thought was"Another one of us sill loving what we do and able to share with others. I'm 73, started quilting at 46, though I have been a seamstress for more than 65 yrs, enjoy having added the skills of quilt making to my "toolbox".

Age is an attitude of mind. We might be slower at some things but getting the wrong impression, it seems, isn't one of them. I hope I'm still sewing and quilting at age 96 like my grandmother!

Thank you Sachiko Takahashi for inspiring me (a relatively new quilter) to continue developing my hand quilting skills. I agree the age thing is irrelevant. I could live to be 150 and probably never reach this level of skill! But you have inspired me to try. Brava!

Mary Dusenberry Beautiful! I am 78 and have just taken up English paper piecing! Age is only an attitude!

Ridiculous headline! Beautiful quilt!

Our mention of the age was to show that skill is ageless. I think we may have sounded condescending. I apologize for that.

Absolutely beautiful quilt and the workmanship is wonderful! I found myself laughing at the age 75 comment! I started quilting in my 30's and the women I learned the most from were already in their 60's and 70's.
