I have been taking Jane's on-line class for two years, and it has been an absolute game changer! I recently retired and yearned to know more about surface design relating to quilts. What I didn't have was even a basic understanding of art, let alone the creative process. This course has a community component that complements the monthly video lessons and pdf's. Plus, there are many professional artists who participate (and they represent countries all over the world). I've been able to hob-knob with wonderful classmates via FaceBook postings where we share projects we are creating, contribute thoughts on monthly topics, and post photos as we look for elements also based on the monthly topic. Creative Strength Training works for participants of all ability levels. It is completely flexible, allowing us to do as much or as little as we want. Best of all, Jane and Zenna actively engage with the students, which is stunning considering the scope of this endeavor.
