Alex and Ricky both spent time with Libby Lehman at the Houston Quilt Festival.

Ricky writes, "Had lunch with one of the greatest ladies I’ve ever known. Libby Lehman says hello to all the quilters out there. Regarding her life she said, “I am blessed”. Doesn’t she look fantastic? Her walking is slow and cautious but it’s without assistance. Our conversations are easy and rich."

Lovely to get an update on Libby - you are looking so good. I remember spending time with you when you were in New Zealand teaching at one of our Symposia, and I was a fellow tutor. Beautiful work.

I think Libby is a true inspiration to so many people--for several reasons. She is a wonderful artist and a lovely person. Also, I think so many people can benefit from her story and journey the past several years. She proves that persistence and having a good support system really pays off!
