I shared this link with my granddaughter who is an art student. We both found it funny and fascinating. There are many great features on TQS about the art, craft, techniques, and history of quilting and textiles. Sometimes it's fun to just to lighten up and take a look at the big wide world and see what other folks ar up to.

To each his own, but my take was to enjoy the heck out of these presentations! Their creativity and ability to bring their concepts to life was amazing as well as amusing. I wish luck to the junior designers in their future endeavors!

Thanks so much for sharing this. It was great to see such creative and inspired works. Executing on some of these ideas must have been a real challenge, and I loved seeing the young kids stretching themselves. What fun!

Sorry Barb, but I disagree. It's fun to see what others are inspired to do and create with textiles of any type. I'm familiar with the movies/shows that we're inspiration for each of these pieces and it's so exciting to see how someone took purely visual inspiration (I.e. a movie or cartoon) and translated it to clothing in a way that still shows the source of inspiration. i hope to be as creative in my own works. I may not choose to use plastic figurine heads but mabey next time I'll consider throwing some silks or even *gasp* polyester into my next design
