We had requests to see Ian Berry's work up close. This is one of Capt'n John's favorites of Ian's work. Look at the detail of the floor, the expression on her face, the wall sconces, and the view out the windows - all done with cut up denim. WOW! A big thank you to AQS for getting Ian into the Spring Paducah 2018 show.

I spent some time talking with him. He has no idea how to sew with a machine and uses glue as his medium. He has a business degree from college. His talent is unbelievable! :-)

This is truly amazing and lovely. It looks all fused. I am wondering if it was quilted at all. A new art form I would love to try. Thank you for showing it. jb

Only someone with the eye of an artist could make this. Gorgeous and a very creative reuse of material. No pun intended.

Amazing artistry. The floor shine is my favorite part!

I really enjoy seeing his work! It is amazing! I would love to make a quilt with the different shades of denim someday but I think my bucket list is too long to learn this and teach my mind to think this way! Maybe just a pieced quilt in shades of denim would be more manageable!
