The QuiltCon Charity Challenge is one of the Modern Quilt Group's largest-scale charity projects. For 2018, members were challenged to create modern traditional quilts using a pre-defined color palette. All charity quilts are donated to benefit a local charity.

Here in just over 3 minutes are a few of the amazing charity quilts that decorated the halls and walls of QuiltCon.

I would be nice if the tags were big enough to read. Even enlarging my screen I couldn't read it.

I’m from the South Sound MQG and our Quilt was the inspiration of a Quilter who sadly enough is no longer with us. She got us started and became ill, she was able to see the quilt finished. We will be giving this quilt to a cancer group in Stephanie’s honor. “Venus de Hilo”. Thank you TQS for sharing our special memory.

Wow! How inspiring as well as being a bowl of eye candy!

Gee! I thought charity quilts had to be guild cast-offs, ugly by definition. Cheers to QuiltCon for raising the bar so high that every guild, modern or otherwise, will now be forced to provide gorgeous quilts to every recipient in their charity pool. You modern quilters rock!
