Rhonda Dort's quilt, Basket of Flowers, is only 24"x 24" but it stopped Capt'n John in his tracks. The vintage cotton table topper, vintage hand crochet, and vintage hand-dyed trims are beautifully blended with great quilting by this Innova pro. Take a look.

Thank you! Hopefully this will inspire more interest in learning crochet and preserving the pieces done long ago. It is a relaxing activity where you can let your creativity flow!

Wow Rhonda. Your talent never ceases to amaze me. Very inspiring piece. How do you find the time to do all this and keep up a blog too. Way to go.

Love this little quilt, and so glad to see others using them. I've been saving and buying pieces that I like for years, and have used them in different wall quilts. My mother-in-law taught me to crochet years ago. They always bring back happy memories of her.

So my earlier post proves I’ve had a crazy day! Couldn’t even spell my own name correctly! Good grief!

As a lover of quilts, crochet and all things hand work, this is the most creative and beautiful piece of quilting I have ever seen. How did I miss this one? Some of these flowers my Mom made and I still have them! Thanks for sharing this treasure and Rhonda, beautiful machine quilting!

Absolutely gorgeous! Reminds me of the crochet work my mother, aunt and a neighbor all made. What a lovely piece.

This looks like a prize winning quilt. Did it win a ribbon?
