Noriko Nozawa's quilt, Field Sketch-Cornflower, almost looks like a tapestry with her use of appliqué, embroidery, and unique fabrics. Her use of digitized embroidery will make you wonder how she did it.

Love the yellow-gold background. Most quilters are afraid to use yellow in this way. Really enhances the delicate floral applique and reminds you of a sunny day!

I thought this quilt was stunning when I saw it at Quilt Market in Houston.....I like to look at the quilts then because I can play "spot the winning quilts" before they are announced the following week at Festival.....an d this quilt was one of the ones I "rated" !

Best use of digitized embroidery I’ve seen. I like that it was used to compliment the gorgeous and beautifully done appliqué and doesn’t overwhelm it.
