Congratulations to Kathy McNeil. She had two 1st Place quilts at Paducah 2017 (you will see the other one soon). This 58"x43" quilt "Best of the Northwest" was quilted on a stationary machine. She used a variety of techniques: Hand Appliqué, Free-Motion Quilting, Tsukineko Inks, Interfacing, and Machine Piecing.

Want to learn some of Kathy's techniques? There is a FREE Online DVD Class by Kathy for Star members. Take a look.

Did you miss the 2nd Place and 3rd Place Quilts?

Love the compositions. Different from my work but inspiring; which is always useful when designing a quilt.

This must be inspired by the view from the Fox Island Bridge. Beautiful, Beautiful quilt. Makes me miss our Gig Harbor home.

Please spell stationary correctly. "Stationery" (with an "e" refers to paper that you write correspondence on!!!
