The Hot Color This Summer? Millennial Pink

Would you use this color in a quilt? The hot color at the Milan Design Week was Millennial Pink. What do you think?

I rather like pink anyhow :-)

My collection of 19th C. reproduction pink prints occupies a whole lotta space in the sewing room. :lol:

To go with the summer color cuz it is out there to work with won't be seen in one of my quilts unless it is a breast cancer quilt - I believe at this moment that statement to be true.

Oh yes, I would use it. I think it is pretty and would look great with navy.

Love the look! I don't know what millennial has to do with anything though. The pink palms are fab in the sun! I do like pink, and in different shades it's very calming.

I am in total agreement with #54, Linda. I really dislike pink and feel the same way about "millennials" so the name and color go together well. They both make me want to gag.

This is Ice Pink with a fancy schmancy name attached....I hate to go the cranky geezer route but the Boomer generation had to pay their own bills and weren't guaranteed a job but knew they had to either pay their dues or change to something that would support us.

Millennialis I would hope will move out of their folks houses just like we did and get busy....don't you all remember news like to report things that will sell....truth or not. I hope our Millenial quilters that have joined us in the best usually non paid activity become creative inspiration for all of us. ...ice pink won't kill you. Quilts for Kids needs quilts as do police departmental and fire engines who carry our quilts for comfort. And yes I like pink....the colors I say I don't like come back to haunt me when I look at a quilt that needed some zing or pizazz
Please dump the negative talk. This question was meant to Generate input on colors not hokum politics.....
