Susan shared the emotional day with me reading all of the cards and kind words sent by my extended quilting family. From Alaska to Hawaii, West Coast to East, the packages kept coming. Truly, I don't think I'll ever run out of cotton thread. Ever. The picture I've posted was taken early in the day, when I thought the thread stash would all fit on the dining room table. (For those who know me, you know I had to try to organize them by brand, weight, color, spool size, etc. -Hah!)

Last Friday was the first opportunity I had to see the thread. I have spent months on the road and living in temporary housing. To all of the kind quilters who sent thread, gift cards, gift certificates, checks, cash, etc... I am grateful beyond words. I can only beg for your forgiveness and understanding for the delay in acknowledging your thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you. Merry Christmas, indeed!
