For nearly 30 years this TQS Legend has produced high quality contemporary art quilts that have been coveted and collected by a broad range of admirers.

From her early beginnings as a painter dabbling in traditional quilt making, her work has evolved from structured Mandalas and mind-blowing dimensional pieces to very painterly landscapes and abstracts executed with the finest fabrics and most creative stitching techniques.

Were you able to guess? It's Katie Pasquini Masopust!!!

Star Members can watch the TQS Legend 2016 (Show 1913) when it debuts on Sunday, December 18, 2016.

Congratulations Katie! Here's to the best teacher ever. Changed my quilting life with my first Alegre Retreat in Santa Fe. Perfect choice for 2016!

I've been a follower of Katie's since 2002, when I made a quilt using her Ghost Layers technique. I've been inspired by her many times over the years. Congratulations Katie!

Yeah for Katie!!! She's an inspiring and generous teacher. I was fortunate to take her class at the Alegre Retreat which she organizes in Gateway, Colorado. I'm so happy for her and her well-deserved recognition in the quilt world....

Recently got to hear Katie speak and see her quilts when she spoke at my guild back in September. Just recently got her iQuilt DVD on her Artful Log Cabins" technique (after seeing the quilts at the guild meeting). So really looking forward to seeing this episode!

I was lucky enough to take a 5 day class with Katie several years ago. The one thing I learned from her that I use every single day? Right brain music, which includes Ricky's cds!

Looking forward to the show! Love Katie's work. I took a class with her at Quilt Colorado and have been following her ever since. I was bummed that she moved to CA from NM as I will be moving to SW CO next year.

I took a class with KPM in Nova Scotia and she is a wonderful teacher. It was the most enervating class and I walked away believing I was able to do what I imagined. Congratulations to Katie who deserves this.

Congratulations Katie! This will be a great show to see! I've admired Katie's work for years first in QA mag, her FB posts, and here. I've dreamed of a retreat of hers. ♥
