I noticed in our weekly newspaper this week that quilting will be offered as an after school activity in our grade school. Perhaps they could help me downsize my stash of over fourty-five years of building.

The Girl Scouts have a quilting badge that is available in many districts. I worked with a Brownie troop in Tucson, AZ to make a quilt for the Arizona Centennial in 2012 and it was exhibited in the Arizona History Museum as part of the year long 100 Quilts, 100 Years. A friend worked with kids in an elementary school to do the same. We just have to look...the opportunities are there.
