Last year at "Quilters Take Manhattan" (QTM) Ricky was the guest speaker. Those of you who were able to attend know that his keynote speech was very inspirational and people were entranced as he presented "Let the Art Find You."  Next Sunday we will present Part 2.  Get ready, after watching, you just might want to jump up and start designing that next quilt.

QTM is presented by Moda and the Quilt Alliance and held at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the heart of the New York City garment district.

I always appreciate your lectures. You inspire me to try new things and help me see myself as an artist. Thank you for sharing this presentation. I have learned, because of you, to stretch in my quilting.

Hi from St. Louis, Ricky. I always love your shows. Thanks! After the last I saw here in the Lou, I decided to do one with Regina Kabayama who works with me at SSND. We finally presented it at Thimble and Thread a week ago. Because of your inspiration we included humor, ancestry, etc. and it was a great hit!

Let's see; talented musician, painter, photographer, quilter, and speaker.
What a pleasure that Ricky shares all of that with us through The Quilt Show. Thank you Ricky and thank you Quilt Show. Always inspiring and fun to share time with Ricky, Alex, and friends.

Hi Ricky, I have been a member of TQS for many years now and just love and appreciate all the work that goes into bringing us so much inspiration and love in the shows and daily blog. I honestly couldn't live without it, haha. Can't wait for the second half. I am looking forward to April 2017 and seeing you at The Victoria Quilters Guild here on Vancouver Island. By the way, I really enjoyed your article in, Where Women Create. Well done. My Dad passed some years ago, but they never truly leave you. You will carry the memories and the love in your mind and heart forever. He will always be with you. Thank you again for your inspiration. Elaine xox.

Ricky never apologizes for who he is, where he comes from, and where he is going. Music, Quilting, Photography, Lecturing; it's all about him and his life, and all the wonderful people with whom he shares his journey. It's wonderful to follow him along his journey and get inspired.

You are always an inspiration. I have been to your workshop, created with your fabrics, followed your on-line quilting classes, and participate as one of your photography students. Thank you so much for being a part of my life. You keep me learning about my self and my creativity.
