Did you know that you can watch The Quilt Show on your TV?  Yes, you can use your "big" screen to watch every show.  Don't know how to connect your computer to your TV?  We've got you covered!  Watch this informative video and YOU can do it.  But, if you're not quite ready to take the task in hand, find someone born in the 80's and they can help you get connected.

Some things to know

Jason choose the HDMI cable connection because it is the absolute best way to connect your HDTV (High Definition Television) to your computer with the best picture and sound quality.  He will outline other options and shows you how to put it all together, right down to the settings on your television.

Just about any computer purchased in the last several years is capable of connecting to your TV.  Of course, slow internet connections or outdated video cards may not give you the best results.  ALL flat screen TVs are capable of being computer monitors. Unfortunately, this will not work with an "old school" television.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE HDMI CABLES! The cheap cables are EXACTLY as good as the expensive ones. (Members of TQS can vouch for this.)

Great video. While a direct cable works fine if you have the computer right next to the TV, the best way I have found for viewing TQS on the TV is with an AppleTV (which is always connected, of course, with an HDMI cable to the TV.) I just use my iPhone or iPad and wirelessly send TQS to the AppleTV via the built-in AirPlay feature. It works great! (Of course, other videos on the iPhone/iPad can also be viewed on the TV.
