Alex's daughter recently posted a note about left-handers on Facebook and Alex found it fascinating.  What do you think?

Left-handers unite!  Let Alex know she is in good company.  Do you need your own Community to share information about Left-Handed tools and tutorials?   Leave a comment and let us know!

I am a lefthander had opposition in school, they do not make things for left handers, like notebooks, etc. Would love to know how other lefties do things.

I am left handed and would love a left handed site for tutorials and general help for a left handed quilter.

As another lefty, I love seeing Alex demonstrate our way for a change. We are also more adaptable.

I'm left handed also. It did cause a bit of grief in grade school when teachers tried to force me to use my right hand to learn cursive writing and use a pencil in my right hand. Thankfully that phase passed. I'm proud to be left handed and truly believe it totally contributes to my creative soul.

My granddaughter is a lefty which used to cause us a few problems/challe nges when she was learning. Now we just adjust things to make it work for her - no problem.

Love the definition of being a leftie! I'm a proud leftie, but it sure can be tricky in a world geared for righties. I eat, write, rotary cut, hand sew, and crochet with my left hand. I use a scissors with my right hand and knit right-handed. Have to adapt some patterns and cutting directions which is just a way of life for lefties. Righties just don't know how easy they have it until they can't use their right hand, and have to do some things with their left! It's funny to hear them complain. And then I say that's the way I ALWAYS do it

I am a lefty! I learned to Quilt watching Alex on Simply Quilts. I loved every minute! I do use scissors with my right hand. One of those things learned as a child. :P

Yes iam lefthanded and had to cope with being the odd one in a large family of right-handed. Taught myself most crafts by watching.
