The larger tins make a nice portable sewing kit or even a first aid kit.

You would get rid of the ugly logo.

Great Idea and perfect to take to "make it -take it" classes or mini workshops. So quick and easy to do. I am making one to keep in my purse as an emergency sewing kit as well. I do like Altoids and always have a tin of them in my bag, so what is one more! ;o) Thanks so much for sharing this great tip.
