6808_zoomquilttadakonagasawa_flowergarden.jpgCaptain John thought he had some idea of how "Flower Garden" by Tadako Nagasawa was put together. Turns out he was wrong. How do you think it was put together?

Take a close look at how this quilt was put together.

I made quilt similar to this and my grandson called it the pixel quilt. It was charted like a cross stitch and then sewed in rows. It was very easy to make but time consuming.

It appears to me to have been charted. Then hand pieced with tiny squares, and strips where possible. Excellent and difficult.
So what is the answer? Please?

A pattern for cross stitch would work using tiny squares would work.

I don't know, my guess is that the background is woven and then painted??? Please put us out of our misery and tell us the answer

It was mathematically worked out and strip pieced. Excellent piece of workmanship.

My guess it’s strip pieced.
