Very good idea. This is a good way to hang any kind of fabric wall art also.

What a great tutorial as usual! The process is well described and easy to see what is happening on the quilt. Thanks Sharon for that! I could have used this technique in the recent past but am so glad that I now have it to use in the future.

Are you butting the batting against the quilt sandwich or does it overlap?

Just wondering what can be used if the Serpentine stitch is not on my machine?

Great information, Sharon. I have had people ask me how to do this and not having done it, could not explain it to them. May have to do a mini-tutorial for the weekly quilting group. Always good to know. Thanks, Sharon!

Just in time as I have an enquiry on extension of a quilt which I had made sometime ago.

Wow! You have saved a couple of projects that have laid dormant because I needed to add some inches. Thank you so much!

Sharon, you did it again. Great tutorial, and this is something I can really make use of. Thank you, :-)

I have done something similar when quilting a big quilt I quilt the interior of the quilt so I don't have to have so much to get through the arm of the sewing machine then I add the borders and quilt them.
