Australian artist Meredith Woolnough creates startlingly beautiful pieces inspired primarily by underwater corals and other life forms. You will never look at machine embroidery in the same way.
Meredith is very inspired by nature, especially the plants she finds while diving in the ocean. After drawing out the design on water washable stabilizer, it is put in a hoop and free-motion quilted. The completed design is then placed in water to remove the stabilizer.
