Why not plan a visit to the Art Institute of Chicago for an afternoon of fun spent viewing delightful, award-winning illustrations selected by a team of respected librarians and other experts in the field of children’s literature.
"Play, Pretend, and Dream" will appear in the Picture Book Gallery of the Ryan Education Center at the Art Institute of Chicago from June 1 through December 1. This family exhibition celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Caldecott Award with an illustration from each of the 16 books that have won the distinguished medal or honor award over the past four years. It's sure to be a hit with the entire family!
