If you like quilts or cats, you'll love this little book, A Black and White Tale. Ann Fahl and Jacquie Scuitto first started to work on this project in 2006. Ann already had quite a few quilts about her cat Oreo and she needed a story line to pull them all together. Jacquie Scuitto the quilt muse, was just the person for the job.
Five years later Ann became a publisher and the book a reality. The story follows Oreo through her daily routine; breakfast, her morning bath, taking a walk in the garden, and guess where she gets a drink of water? This full color book shows each of 34 quilts in beautiful detail, down to the beads. At the end of the book there are descriptions and back stories of each quilt. This is an entertaining book, small is size, yet packed full of 10 years of quilt making. It is a perfect gift for yourself or another quilter.
