Here's the latest from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles - if you are involved in the exchange, please read carefully as it contains helpful hints for making the exchange successful. Thanks.
Here's a few reminders for those who are still sewing, and for those who are ready to mail your packages.
1) Before starting to sew your HSTs, please review the Guidelines for making your HSTs on Page 1, Post #4, of the Chapter 2 - Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles and rewatch Edyta's Show #802.
2) Please DO NOT OPEN your HSTs. Leave them folded with the paper on and pack them carefully. If you leave the triangles closed with the paper on, it protects them in transport, and keeps them from falling apart or becoming distorted because of the bias edges. They must also be the correct value: one light and one med/dark fabric in each HST.
3) HSTs need to be sent in increments of 28, (28, 56, 112, 140, 168, etc.) except for those being included for Queensland or Norway.
4) Instructions for mailing your packages may be found on Page 1, Post #1 and 2, of the Chapter 2 Forum. Envelopes are working fine for up to 700 HSTs and are much preferred to bulky boxes.
5) Remember to include your screen name and the number of HSTs on the OUTSIDE of your mailing envelope and on the INSIDE too. This HST count should not include any extras for Queensland, Hanne, etc. It should only be the number that will be returned to you.
6) If you're sending extra HSTs for Queensland or Hanne, make sure they are clearly marked in separate baggies.
7) Send Debbie an email to let her know you've mailed your package so she can reply to let you know she received it.
