Since Alex is all about the American Quilt League for the World Series Quilt Challenge, Ricky thinks the National Quilt League needs a little love too. Ricky's team has a great group of ladies, including one of his many quilting friends, Caryl Bryer Fallert; and they've also donated their beautiful quilts to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative for the World Series Quilt Challenge Auction going on now through November 10.
You can bid on Caryl's stunning quilt and own a little bit of history from one of quilting's master artists. And don't worry, if you can't affort to bid on a quilt, you can root for any member of the World Series Quilt Challenge. ROOT for YOUR FAVORITES here. You only need $1 to ROOT and help stamp out this horrible disease.
Caryl's Quilt - Feather Flower #2 - This quilt is the second in a series of original, abstract, floral forms that borrow design elements from my "Feather Study" series of quilts. All of the "solid" fabrics are from my "Gradations" collection for Benartex, and the green print is from my "Multi-Tye-Dye" collection for Benartex.
