It's time to get serious and Root for Ricky. We want Ricky (an all-star on the National Quilt League) to be MVP of the World Series Quilt Challenge for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative and we don't think a young upstart like Sue Nickels should stand in his way. While a perfectly nice woman (with an amazing knack for machine quilting) Sue has had more than her share of awards (Best of Show - Birmingham, Best of Show AQS, IQA Master Award, AQS Machine Workmanship Award...) and her quilt, Tiny Tea at Tenby, lacks the color of Ricky's Rhapsody for Remembering.
So get on it TQS members and click here to Root for Ricky and the National Quilt League, we can't let Sue get another notch in her thimble case. And remember one vote is a one dollar donation toward finding a cure for Alzheimer's - be generous and cast several votes.
