Take a good look at Judith Roderick's quilt, Avian Architecture - Myself as a Bowerbird and enjoy the various techniques she used to create the quilt, including fusing, appliqué, and machine quilting. Exhibited at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2013, she was inspired by the Australian bowerbird's bower.
