Here is the winner of First Place Wall Quilts - Home Machine Quilted-  from AQS Lancaster 2013 - Flourish on the Vine by Kathy K. Wylie has stunning applique and stunning machine quilting.  That's definitely a winning combination.  It measures 62" x 73" and features needle-turn applique, hand and machine embroidery, cut-away trapunto, domestic machine quilting and don't miss the decorative binding treatment.

Flourish on the Vine was also the Winner of the 2011 Founders Award at the International Quilt Association show in Houston.

This quilt was inspired by the words of John 15:5:

I am the vine; you are the branches.
If you remain in Me and I in you,
you will bear much fruit;
apart from Me you can do nothing.
