While visiting the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY, Photo Man - Gregory Case, took photos of some pretty spectacular quilts. This one is no exception. Shadows of Umbria by Diane Gaudynski has won many awards including the
- Founders Award, IQA, Houston 2006 (It was the first time a machine quilted quilt had been honored with this award.)
- Best of Show, Bed Quilts, NQA 2007
- Bernina Purchase Award for Machine Workmanship, AQS, Paducah 2008.
