Dear TQSers,
What a great group you are! Thanks to all of you who sent comments, cards, books, handmade gifts and chocolate. I love you all. Since I got so much advice, here's some for you:
THINGS I HAVE LEARNED WHILE BROKEN
1. Patience is a virtue-especially for your caretaker.
2. Your nurses were right-elevate, elevate, elevate.
3. It is very hard to sew with your ankle higher than your head.
4. Trying to lose weight while inactive is a losing proposition.
5. Being an organized person is a big advantage when you can't walk around to find things. In fact, being organized is a big advantage even when you can get around.
6. As soon as you can't drive, you'll want to.
8. I love the "cruise control", no pedal sewing on my Bernina 830.
9. Drugs are a good thing. Wine is even better (and more fun).
10. Daytime TV sucks-reason #351 to belong to The Quilt Show!
