Every odd calendar year, hundreds of quilters from around the state of Colorado anxiously await the day when they can see their own quilts hanging in the State Capitol Building in Denver. Before the show is even open to the public, however, numerous volunteers spend many long and sometimes stressful hours working to ensure that the quilt installation goes without a hitch.
