A Little Help - Hopefully the last of my battle with cancer series. Each person in my quilt group was given a small baggie with scraps in it and asked to make a small quilt. This quilt is a result of that challenge. I call it "With a Little Help From My Friends, Family, and G-d, I Hope that I Have Won This Battle".

Harley Davidson - couldnt believe my eyes when i found a lot of really old tee shirts at a jumble sale all harley davidson. i washed them cut out the design motive ironed onto vialene, and made them into a lap quilt. i have since given the quilt to my son-in-law as he owns a beautiful harley. he loves the quilt, especially in winter when its so cold.

cornish flag - i made this wallhang for an exhibition at our group, to deplict the seasons this one being spring. i changed the flag for the cornish one and the bird on flag pole is the cornish chuff, which have now returned to conwall and are nesting down west.

You know one of those light bulb moments. I knew I had to try it and I really like the way is came out. Used only Hoffman fabric.

Beach Flowers

Beach Flowers - This quilt was made a a block exchange in my local Countryside Quilters guild. the pieced blocks were done using a given block and a "focus" fabric that was used with each member adding their own colors from their stash. I added the appliqued flowers on point to bring all the blocks together. It reminds me of something used at the beach for picnics! Maybe I'll have a beach house one day to use it!
